Germany - Just one step closer to wunderland

1   Berlin’s Brandenburg Gate

The Brandenburg Gate is remembered not just for its beauty, but also for its historical importance.  It was originally one of Berlin’s city gates built back in 1791, standing as the entry to the Under den Linden Avenue. The gate features a light show starting during the evening, the Brandenburg Gate illuminates the atmosphere during the night and the experience is quite electrifying. No wonder why it is one of the most visited attractions in Germany.


2   Neuschwanstein Castle


The medieval themed Neuschwanstein castle (literally meaning “New Swan Castle”) is located in Bavaria, near the town of Fussen and was built by the “Fairytale King” named King Ludwig II. Walt Disney's design of their iconic castle is supposedly based of this building! Read more. 
There are plenty of things to do near the Newschwanstein Castle apart from the tours you can take inside the building. Visiting museums, or riding cable cars, hiking, and even skydiving at Tegelbargbahn, are just a few of them. All of these are just a small trip from the Neuschwanstein Castle.

3   Miniature Wonderland


Literally named so, the Miniature Wonderland is situated in the Hamburg’s warehouse district, houses the biggest model railway in the world, taking up an area of 1,300 square meters. Crossing over to Everglades, to Vegas, to the Rocky Mountains, and stretches over a large body of real water, to Scandinavia. 4   Berlin Wall

Berlin Wall Trail
Germany’s Berlin Wall holds great cultural and historical significance, being the wall that divided the city into two during the Cold War. You can tour the Berlin Wall Trail , by cycling, making it a great leisure and recreation activity, and allowing you to view the wall in its entirety. 





The BerlinWall Memorial is a 220 metre preserved wall that stretches along the Bernauer Strasse section between East and West Berlin. Other parts of the memorial holds photographs, videos, and sound recording that tells the story of a divided nation.

5   Oktoberfest

Munich is Germany’s beer capital, originally held back in the 19th century to celebrate a royal wedding, little did we know, that event escalated, becoming a famous festival that is now well known across the world. Oktoberfest is held during September/October once a year, brightening people lives in an old classic style. Plan your ticket for  the festival now.
